Many new purchases
I received so many packages yesterday!
A new smartphone case, as the old one was broken. I opted for the same Spigen Tough Armor. My Samsung Galaxy A54 feels like new, as it also received OneUI 8 with Android 16 just the day before.
A new mouse. A Logitech M720 Triathlon, as my MX Master 2 started to feel a bit sticky and the new MX Master 4 is too expensive for my taste. The M720 Triathlon is totally fine and even has a top button to switch devices, so you don’t need to lift the mouse and turn it around. While you can do horizontal scrolling with the scrolling wheel, I also learned that it’s possible to do horizontal scrolling in most Windows apps by just holding shift and then doing the normal scrolling. 🤯
New sunglasses, as the frame of my old ones broke and I wasn’t able to find the same frame again to just put the lenses in the new frame. A few weeks ago, I also ordered new normal glasses from that same online shop, as it seems to be one of the cheapest options when you want thin lenses with a 1.74 refractive index. And my old glasses were already six years old.
And, finally, a new tablet. A Samsung Galaxy Tab S10 Lite. Something for ePaper reading, content consumption, or casual research and blogging, sitting in between my laptop and phone. A bigger screen, but not as big as a laptop. It was delivered from a local electronics market via Uber Eats (my first time getting something other than food from a bike courier). I really like that tablet so far. I opted for it vs. the Xiaomi Pad 7, as updates are promised for 7 years, and I’m already familiar with Samsung devices.
It might look like I’m a victim of consumerism, but I swear, I thought a long time about all those purchases and didn’t do them on a whim!
